Gateway Youth

In 2025, Saskatoon Youth for Christ launched Gateway Youth, a new program designed to serve young people in the Blaine Lake area.

Youth for Christ is an interdenominational Christian organization operating across Canada and in over 100 countries worldwide. For more than 50 years, Youth for Christ has been committed to supporting young people in developing as balanced individuals, addressing their physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.

Gateway Youth meets every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Blaine Lake Composite School, unless otherwise noted. Each evening is led by a dedicated team of adult staff and volunteers and offers a variety of activities including gym sports, arts and crafts, and card and board games. A snack is provided, and each session includes a short time of teaching from the Bible.

The program aims to create a fun, welcoming, and safe environment where all teenagers can connect with peers, build healthy relationships, and explore what the Bible has to say. There is no pressure to adopt any particular faith. Gateway Youth is open to all students in grades 8 through 12.

Attendance is free of charge. Fees may apply for select special events, which will be announced at Gateway Youth gatherings and on the Gateway Youth Facebook and Instagram pages.
